The question here is…
Is it really repressing to hold in your tears?
Let me show you the two sides to this question that made me wonder…
It is repressing:
Some people say that holding in your tears is repressing because all of your feelings stay inside, and then start to boil. This can become unhealthy since no one else gets to know about your thoughts. No one knows.
It is not repressing:
Others say that holding in your tears is not repressing because crying reveals that you have a weakness, especially if you cry often. On this side, it is better to not show tears at all because it shows strength. Almost like you can handle whatever is about to be thrown at you. You don’t let little things in your life become high obstacles. If you do end up crying in public, everyone knows.
